Benton REA serves approximately 22% of the land area of Benton and Yakima Counties, or about 1,300 square miles. Service area is defined by West Richland on the east, White Pass on the west, Hanford Reach on the north, and as far south as Whitcom Island on the Columbia River. Service is provided to residential, commercial, industrial, and agriculture/irrigation members.
