Conservation Rebates

Benton REA offers efficiency rebates for residential, commercial, irrigation and industrial members. Below are the rebates that Benton REA offers for residential members. Commercial, irrigation, and industrial efficiency rebates are determined on a project by project basis. Clothes Washers
$70 rebate - Energy Star rated with a MEF of 1.72 or higher (home with electric water heater)
$25 rebate - Energy Star rated with a MEF of 1.72 or higher (home with gas water heater)

Freezers
$25 rebate - Energy Star rated, full size freezers only, 7.75 cubic feet or larger

Refrigerators
$25 rebate - Energy Star rated, full size refrigerators only, 7.75 cubic feet or larger

Dishwashers
$25 rebate - Energy Star rated (home must have electric water heater)
