The Benton REA Member Academy is a four-week educational program that gives members an inside look at the cooperative they own. You’ll learn how rates are set, how we maintain a reliable electric system, what we’re doing to prepare for the future, tour a substation, and see a high-voltage safety demonstration.

- Sessions are on Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. with lunch provided at each session
- Session 1: October 15
- Session 2: October 22
- Session 3: October 29
- Session 4: November 5
- Graduates who complete all 4 sessions will receive a $100 bill credit and a certificate of completion
Why Should Members Participate?
- Benton REA isn’t owned by investors or shareholders—it’s owned by its members.
- The Member Academy is an opportunity to learn more about the cooperative you own and how it operates.
