SmartHub
Manage your account online by signing up for SmartHub. Make payments, view your usage history, contact Benton REA and report power outages all through SmartHub.
Download the SmartHub app by searching for SmartHub in the App Store or Play Store. Choose Benton Rural Electric Association (Benton REA) as your provider.

Levelized budget billing averages your electricity use over the last 12 months to determine your monthly payment amount. You will receive a bill every month showing how much electricity you used, the levelized payment due, and the current balance on your account. You can request levelized billing any time throughout the year.

Benton REA offers a $33 discount for qualifying low-income seniors and low-income disabled members.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be 62 years of age or older or provide proof of disability.
- Annual combined household gross income must be equal to or less than 200% of the Federal poverty guideline for two-member households, currently $42,300. This includes the income of spouses or co-tenants. (View Income Guidelines)
Note: Discount eligibility must be renewed every 3 years.
Discount ApplicationPower to Care offers payment assistance to income qualified members. The amount received depends on family size, household income and amount due on the account. Power to Care assistance may be granted to a member household once per calendar year.

How to Donate
Giving is easy.
- On your billing stub you’ll find an option to contribute to Power to Care.
- Additional donation options are listed on the back of your bill.
- You can also enroll through the Bill & Pay section of SmartHub via the app or website.
Members may choose to “round up” their bill or give a set amount—whatever works best for your budget.
